Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Khatu Shyam Education and Charitable Trust, we are deeply grateful for your generous donations. Every contribution empowers us to execute critical grassroots projects across education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. However, we understand that errors can happen during digital transactions.

1. General Donation Policy

Because your contributions are immediately allocated to active social welfare drives, all donations made to the Trust are generally non-refundable and non-cancellable once the transaction is successful. By proceeding with a donation, you agree to this standard non-profit condition.

2. Valid Exceptions for Refund

We believe in absolute transparency and ethical financial practices. We will process a full or partial refund only under the following exceptional circumstances:

• Technical Glitch / Double Deduction: If your bank account or credit card is charged more than once for a single donation attempt due to a server or payment gateway error.
• Incorrect Amount Entered: If you accidentally type a significantly higher amount (e.g., intending to donate ₹1,000 but typing ₹10,000) and notify us immediately.
• Fraudulent Transaction: If an unauthorized donation is made using your stolen card or banking details (subject to bank verification).

3. How to Request a Refund (The Process)

If your situation falls under the valid exceptions, please follow our streamlined resolution process within 7 days of the transaction date.

4. Cancellations of Recurring Donations

If you have subscribed to a monthly/yearly recurring donation (SIP), you can cancel it at any time. Cancellations will apply to future deductions only. Any deduction made prior to your cancellation request cannot be refunded.
